I never thought it was possible, but today I injured myself while editing. My friend (and often producer) Brady Kiernan came over to put some final edits to his Doomtree multi-cam live show. We were hungry, and like any good editor I provided some snacks. Everything was going really well and we were enjoying the gourmet salt-and-pepper potato chips until, upon my own lazy attempt at munching, a small fragment of a chip flung itself into my left eye. The pain was extreme and I immediately thought I was desitned to spend a few days winking like George Costanza. But, I stayed calm and a thorough rinsing with cold tap water dissolved the chip crumb and we finished the video. I was a little embarassed at my inability to safely eat potato chips, but Brady’s amusement ultimately led to this post
